Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI)

The ECEI approach is how children aged 0 to 6 years with a developmental delay or disability are supported to gain the functional skills they need to participate meaningfully in every day life.

Supports are provided under a child’s NDIS plan.

A Key Worker coordinates a child’s interventions and supports the child, parents and caregivers.

Individual goals for each child and their family are discussed and evidence based supports provided to work towards these goals.

Services are tailored to meet the individual needs of the child are focused on supporting children in their natural environments and in their everyday experiences and activities.

The supports may also include providing information and referral to other support services or organisations.
