Occupational Therapy

Our Occupational Therapist aims to equip children with living and self-help skills to participate in every day activities and play.

Through working closely with families and other MEIS team members, our Occupational Therapist can gain valuable information about a child’s fine motor abilities, posture, motor planning and sensory processing skills. Our Occupational Therapist can then determine the effect these abilities are having on the child’s self care skills, social and communication skills and self-esteem.

The Occupational Therapist provides an individual program with targeted goals to support the child’s development across different areas of need, and further support to the family.
