How we Work

There are three ways people can access MEIS services and programs:

MEIS offers a range of services for eligible children under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). You are welcome to talk to us about your child and the NDIS. Once you have an NDIS plan, you can arrange a no-obligation appointment at MEIS to discuss how you want to implement your plan with the services available.

As an Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) transitional provider for the NDIS, MEIS offers individualised supports for eligible children and their families. Under this program, MEIS will identify individual goals for each child and their family and provide evidence based supports, information and other referrals (if needed) to help meet these goals.

MEIS also identifies whether children require some short term intervention or long term specialised intervention supports and assists families in requesting access to the NDIS, submitting the required information and evidence. MEIS will also complete the pre-planning process with families for children aged 0–6 who receive access to the NDIS.
